Change of Venue

Dear Honolulu Music Lovers:

Due to Covid-19 I am unable to continue operating my shop from the Chinatown artist loft location. As a consequence I have discontinued the violin student trade-in program. Check with your music teacher for updates on how to proceed next.

For future appointments, please call (206)965-0930.

Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.

Kurt R. Jones

Covid-19 and Violins

George Kleine presents the Cines photo drama Quo Vadis Nero sings while Rome burns.

Right now Kurt R Jones Violin Shop is hunkered down like most of the United States. I am working on instruments from home with assistance from Taz the dog. If you need an emergency repair, feel free to email for an outdoor or remote consultation.

Stay safe, and stay sane by keeping the music going.

Let sleeping dogs lie.

Taz the dog hard at work.

January 2018

This January Kurt R Jones Violin Shop was pleased to host Rafael Carrabba in Honolulu for a new violin making extravaganza. With any luck the violins will be finished up by April in time for the 2018 Contemporary American Violin & Bow Maker Exhibition in Glendale, California at the Metzler Violin Shop.
